What Is The Study About?
This study will test the effects of memantine on dementia symptoms in older adults with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease who are not currently taking Alzheimer's medications. Memantine, also known as Namenda, is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to treat moderate to severe symptoms of Alzheimer's disease.
